Currently we have a
Benefits & HR Assistant
position open. This position assists the Benefits/Payroll office with daily administration of employee benefits as well as general support to the HR department.
Essential functions of the position include:
Inform new employees of available benefits. Review employee benefit enrollments for completeness.
Enter and maintain timely, accurate data in HRIS and with benefit carriers.
Maintain accurate and orderly employee files.
Assist in preparing and distributing various employee communications for benefits or other purposes as assigned.
Maintain accurate records of benefit plan invoicing and payments collected. Prepare invoices for payment.
Transmit routine 401(k), HSA, FSA, etc. data with record keeper/administrator.
Assist with preparing data for audits.
Assist bereaved with claiming death benefits.
Assist HR with employee data entry and related clerical duties.
Assist HR Director and staff with employee events, record keeping, etc.
General qualifications for this role:
High School or GED. College degree preferred
Minimum of one (1) year experience in benefits work preferred.
