Currently we have a Parts Sales Specialist position open. This position will process and expedite service parts orders from initial quote, order placement, producing and processing all necessary documents while maintaining all US and country specific customs compliance, coordinating with domestic and international logistic and freight forwarders to ensure legal shipment and delivery. Essential functions of the position include: Receives, expedites and follows-up on all orders / backorders in a timely manner to ensure performances levels and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction Completes purchase orders and provides timely communication associated with global time difference. Provides parts quotes and proformas for pre-purchase approval. Research all issues in shipping, transportation, and billing reported and claimed by distribution. Prepares, completes and verifies all required documentation including commercial invoices, airway bills, end user certificates, including EUC approval with Custom Compliance. Ensures all HTS codes, Country of Origins, License Numbers and ECCN Numbers are accurately provided on all invoice documents. Completes required SLI, USMCA, and AUSFTA documents. Works with Chamber of Commerce to provide stamped documentation for specific countries Coordinates with freight forwarders and domestic and international logistics companies to find the most cost-effective shipping method in addition to following individual carrier compliance guidelines. Regularly review operating procedures for import/export compliance, TSA changes, individual carrier guidelines, international country rules & regulations based on individual purchase order requests. Knowledgeable and trained on the variations of INCOTERMS, up to date on [anti]boycott violations, individual country requirements, customs regulations. General qualifications for this role: High School or GED.
